“With our new MLF Tarza & Jane latex fashion line we aim to make key-pieces for the fashionista with an everyday nonchalance and wearability. We are again and again spellbound by latex as a couture material. Latex gives us the chance to give our pieces a unique flow of lines and a comic-style presence, and to make them intriguing by giving them classic or even conservative cuts.”
Fabian & Daniel Wergen met for the first time in spring 2019 and instantly found out that they share a faszination for latex and its deep colours, plasticity, softness and warmth. They soon decided to team up under Daniels recently founded label MLF Making Latex Fashion which had until then mainly catered to a growing customer base in the kinky, fetish and S&M communities. Daniel brings in his great and creative handcrafting skills, and Fabian focuses on cutting patterns with his background in fashion, jewelry & product design.
And by the way: latex is a very eco-friendly material.
